Del Cielo Brewing Company

Mi Casa es Tu Casa

Del Cielo has long put its beer where its values are. Back in 2021, the brewery released Always Pride, a Pride Month brew created to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, with 20% of proceeds donated to the Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County, a nonprofit providing programs for LGBTQ+ people across the East Bay. It was one of several purpose-driven beers the brewery has brewed over the years as part of its Beers With A Purpose program.

As a Livermore Pride Passport stop, we invite you to celebrate Del Cielo as a local business that actively supports LGBTQ+ people, not just during Pride Month, but all year long. Founded by Luis and Cielomar in 2018 in Downtown Martinez, Del Cielo is a Latino-owned family brewery built on a shared love of craft beer, one another, and the people around them. They started brewing in their garage for family and friends. When they outgrew it, they expanded into a full brewery built, in their words, to be an extension of their home. Del Cielo has since expanded to a second taproom in Livermore, bringing that same spirit of Mi Casa es Tu Casa to a new city.

“Our mission is to brew community through quality beer with passion and purpose.”

Hosting events like Queer Speed Dating with Love on Tap & LGBTQ Trivia Night this June, Del Cielo is creating spaces for our community to connect and thrive. In addition to their incredible beer, they have a broad selection of non-alcoholic options and thoughtful mocktails, ensuring our sober community has something special to sip on too. And don't sleep on the food! The menu's got that same creative, heritage-inspired spin as the beer. Who knew pickled cauliflower could be this good?

Supporting businesses like Del Cielo Brewing Co. is one of the most direct ways we can strengthen the kind of Livermore we want to live in. When you spend your money at a Pride Passport stop, you're supporting a business that supports ALL people. It's how LGBTQ+ youth, families, and community members keep feeling welcomed and valued in the spaces in their hometown. Making Livermore a safe space is more than attending our annual celebration, it's the everyday choices we make about where we gather, who we support, and how we show up for each other.
